When I lived at Pennymore, we only had one television channel which was BBC1.
We could only watch that during the winter as in the summer it was impossible due to the submarines. The submarines used to come up Loch Fyne in the summer and cause interference on everyones TVs- when we tried to tune in all we could hear was the commanders voices from the submarines.
