An Niall Mór (The Great Neil)

A story in Gaelic telling of Campbell of Garvie visiting Ireland. While enjoying the sumptuous surroundings of the castle of the Great Neil, Campbell of Garvie hugely exaggurates the size and splendour of his own castle, inviting his hosts to see for themselves, only to have his bluff called when they arrive.

From local lore, as told to Àdhamh Ó Broin in 1993 by the late Archie MacNaughton, Ardachuple Farm, Glendaruel, Cowal, Argyll.
