Fairy Pools is a Puddle!

"Before recent times, no-one had heard of the Fairy Pools. They have only recently become a popular tourist attraction. Local people didn't know them as the Fairy Pools. There is a holiday home down the road from me in Aird, and I got chatting to a woman who was staying there one summer. She told me she used to holiday in the north of Skye every year, but that it has become too crowded there in recent years due to so many tourists visiting the area.

"Now, she stays in south Skye instead. I asked her if she had ever been to the Fairy Pools. She replied 'No - have you seen it? It's a puddle!'"
