Grass roots story gathering is at the heart of COAST. 32 locals have been brought on board as story gatherers to reach out and encourage sharing and to gather material for our story bank. If you have a story to tell do please use our survey link but should you know of any important resources that would help our local story gatherers please use the appropriate form below to contact them. Some but not all of our story gatherers speak Gaelic.
I grew up in Ardgour, Ardnamurchan, and have worked both there and in Lochaber. I currently live in Appin, Argyll with my partner and I am a full-time student with the University of the Highlands and Islands, doing a degree in archaeology. I volunteer with the Glencoe and North Lorn Folk Museum working on their collection, and as a museum assistant during the summer.
I enjoy local history, archaeology, and wildlife, and enjoy getting out in our wonderful environment, as well as archery, cooking, crafting, and painting, all of which I enjoy with my 10-year-old daughter.
